Raven Concealment Systems is the result of three men’s quest to find the “perfect” holster. We’re not members of Delta Force, the Navy SEALs, or Force Recon. We’re not Secret Service or FBI agents. We’re not IDPA or IPSC superstars. But many of our customers are…and it is their input, coupled with our unique “outside the box” approach to Kydex manufacturing that has made RCS such a unique fixture in the industry.

Several years of selling tactical gear over the internet and at gun shows gave us the chance to try virtually every type of concealment holster on the market. While there were some that we liked better than others, we could never find one holster that we could unequivocally state was perfect.

After purchasing a Kydex press and some raw materials to make knife sheaths for personal use, we decided to experiment with some simple IWB holster ideas. Our early designs were simple and crude, but effective. These first holsters taught us a great deal about how to make a holster concealable. To our surprise, our own “home-brewed” holsters began to outsell the other name-brand holsters on a regular basis…and Raven Concealment Systems was born.

At this point, we began an extensive period of research and development in order to refine our designs. We sought the advice of respected professionals to find out what they liked and hated about holsters they had used in their careers. We sent out countless samples for T&E, and used that feedback to continually improve our product. What began as a simple IWB sheath morphed into a modular inside- or outside-the-waistband holster that could accommodate a pistol-light, with almost a dozen different options for attaching to a belt…the legendary RCS “Phantom” holster.

Our evolution has taken some two and a half years. We take pride in the knowledge that we didn’t take the easy path: we didn’t reverse engineer someone else’s product and put our name on it. We started with a clean slate and essentially let our customers describe their perfect holster. We simply gave form to that wish-list.

It is our love of shooting, our quest for the finest gear, and our respect for those who “stand the watch” that drives us.
